The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce invites members to attend the California Labor Law Update 2025, taking place on Wednesday, January 15th, at 8:30 AM. This session is designed to help businesses understand recent changes to employment laws and provide actionable solutions for compliance.
Mistee Ruiz, SPHR, SHRPB, Chief People Officer at Facio – “Your People Solution,” stresses the importance of staying informed, saying, “Keeping up-to-date is key to protecting every business. Each is unique in what they do and how they do it, yet all are similar in grappling with the laws around their employees. I hope this session simplifies the process of implementing changes to shield our businesses and helps our members get back to focusing on what they do best.”
This year’s program also includes practical advice on how to address these updates effectively, ensuring businesses can stay ahead of compliance requirements.
