Registration is now open for the annual Torrance Armed Forces Day 5K for Freedom, scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 8:00 AM. This event offers participants a unique opportunity to honor our nation’s heroes while engaging in a healthy, community-focused activity.
The 5K course takes participants on a scenic tour through beautiful Torrance, California, starting near the Black Angus restaurant at the Del Amo Fashion Center and proceeding along Torrance Boulevard, lined with majestic Eucalyptus trees. All finishers will receive a commemorative 5K for Freedom t-shirt, and the event will feature computerized bib timing, free food and beverage giveaways, and exhibitor booths.
This year’s 5K is part of the larger 63rd Annual City of Torrance Armed Forces Day Parade and Celebration, honoring the United States Army’s 250th birthday. Festivities will take place from Friday, May 16, to Sunday, May 18, 2025.
