Halverson, Stone & Myers Mortuary has been an important part of the Torrance community since its founding in 1959. With a majestic 50-foot copper steeple, the beautiful architecture helped place the facility on the Historic Homes Walk. As I entered the mortuary, I was greeted by Lee Tinnesand and Jesus Aguilasocho, Jr.

Both Lee and Jesus are professional and extremely knowledgeable. As we sat at a beautiful table in a soothing room, they talked me through the importance of pre-planning a funeral or cemetery arrangements which will provide peace of mind to the individual and their loved ones. “It is important for an individual to reflect on what’s important to them when they are alive,” explained Lee.
