This past week I had the incredible opportunity to tour AMAG Technology, Inc., a G4S Company with members of the Chamber’s Tech Talks program. Heartfelt appreciation is extended to Jeanne Imbrogno, Vice President Customer Services for the coordination of the onsite tour, speakers and tour guides.
AMAG Technology offers a powerful and diverse unified security platform that encompasses access control, video management, identity management, visitor management, intrusion management and incident and case management, to provide a consumable, flexible system which allows businesses to effectively secure their facilities, transform their operations and meet compliance.
“The world of tomorrow is being created today. So much has happened in technology and IT the past 15 years,” commented Jason Schimpf, Vice President Partner Programs. This was made clear by the onsite tour and presentation by other AMAG employees.
As we toured the facility, we were provided a glimpse into the many departments that make up AMAG. These departments included the warehouse, purchasing, shipping and receiving, technical support, training, marketing and customer service.
The one thing that was evident throughout the tour was the concept of bringing fun into the workplace. Colorful bulletin boards adorned the hallways and a large chart in the breakroom announced birthdays and employees’ anniversaries with the company.
