Members of the Military Affairs Council met to discuss partnership opportunities between the business community and Los Angeles Air Force Base (LA AFB). Discussion items included Congressman Ted Lieu’s Service Academy Day, State of the Region/Hidden Hero program, and the 5K for Freedom Run/Walk in Tribute to Louis Zamperini.
Colonel Mia Walsh, Commander of Space Base Delta 3 at LA AFB talked about the excitement and work the base is doing to prepare for the Armed Forces Day Parade. The event will take place on Saturday, May 18th along Torrance Boulevard and this year’s honorary branch is Space Force.
