Sherry Kramer is the Director of Community Relations & Marketing at Continental Development Corporation. She has been fortunate to be with the company for 17 years. Continental Development Corporation is a 50-year plus commercial real estate business whose mix of tenants include commercial, medical, retail, and hospitality. They have properties throughout the greater South Bay area and San Francisco. While El Segundo is where their corporate headquarters are located, Continental Development Corporation feels every city they are in is home.
Kramer’s position at Continental Development Corporation has focused on tenant, community, and government relationships and since the pandemic, leasing and marketing. She is grateful to work for an owner who emphasizes the importance of giving back so it makes a difference in the lives of others. Their philanthropic philosophy is evident in the many organizations we support.
Kramer states “There are many reasons we are members of the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce including the strong community involvement with education and the workforce and the collaboration with government officials. We believe the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce truly has the interest of business in the forefront as evidenced with their Governmental Affairs Committee (GAP). GAP provides a platform for businesses of all sizes the opportunity to express business-related concerns on issues of importance and to be educated on the City’s policies and procedures.”
Continental Development Corporation’s greatest return on investment is the people and connections they establish and the positive relationships they build which is tremendously important in communicating information to their tenants and maintaining their buildings and properties in the City of Torrance.
“I am currently on the Chamber Board of Directors for the second time having been Board Chair in 2014. Continental Development Corporation will continue to be involved with the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce and remain a Premier Investor for years to come.”
