This year I had the honor of being chair for the Los Angeles County Business Federation (BizFed). With more than 215 business associations representing 410,000 employers with more than five million employees throughout the region, BizFed is a massive, diverse grassroots alliance centered in Los Angeles County that advocates for policies and projects that strengthen our economy.
As Chairman of the Board, I had the incredible opportunity to see firsthand how businesses can mobilize and advocate at local, regional, state, and federal levels of government to ensure sustainable economic growth and job creation.
I was also provided opportunities to meet individuals who run statewide organizations, participate in Leadership Roundtables, and utilize available resources for the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce members.
This was an extraordinary opportunity for the Torrance Chamber and one that will be remembered for years to come.
