I had the opportunity to meet Marcella Miller, Executive Director of Salus Homecare Los Angeles at this month’s Health and Happiness Fair. In speaking with Marcella, it was evident that she has a passion for seniors and their care. The Salus caregiving team is specifically trained to provide a full range of caregiving services for physical, emotional, and social needs, such as fall prevention, dementia, loneliness, depression, and end-of-life care.
As I visited with Miller and Diana Robles, office manager, they shared multiple stories leading to their two core values, excellence, and happiness. Offering accredited, reliable support, Salus Homecare provides varying levels of care including home care, home health and hospice care at home to always meet the needs of clients. They also provide non-medical services which include short- and long-term care, respite care, personal care, cooking and shopping, companionship and transportation to doctor’s appointments.
