As I approached the entrance of the Portofino Hotel and Marina, I noticed the gorgeous landscaping, the waterfall, and the charming boats in the harbor. It was a picturesque day at the beach. Yvette Antoniou, Director of Sales, warmly welcomed me upon my arrival.
As we walked into the lobby of the Portofino, it felt as if we’d entered a vast living room. This space offers a beautiful ocean view, crackling fireplace, soothing plants, and comfy furniture. The overall design of the Portofino is casual, yet it maintains an elegant ambiance.
Yvette soon took me on a tour of the spacious guest rooms and suites. I noticed each had a crisp and clean atmosphere painted in hues of blue, yellow and bright white. Guests staying at the Portofino have access to complimentary beach cruiser bicycles, a 24 hour fitness center, fire pits on the harbor, and a heated outdoor oceanside pool. They often dine at BALEENkitchen, a chic, friendly restaurant with seaside dining and views of the marina. Live music fills the BALEENlounge throughout the week.
The Portofino offers multiple meeting facilities, including several waterfront conference rooms, boardrooms, and smaller meeting room space, as well as an 8,000 square foot area that may be utilized for a convention, conference, or event.
Yvette provided a tour of the facility which was informative and breathtaking. This was truly an Out & About visit I could have extended. The Portofino is truly a lovely property.
The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce thanks the Portofino Hotel and Marina for being a long time member of the Chamber.
