The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce invites Chamber members to attend the “Navigating the Intersection of Business & Healthcare” event on April 24, at the Miyako Hybrid Hotel. The event will feature discussions with top healthcare leaders on the current state of healthcare in the South Bay.
Jacqueline Folkert, Area Director of Marketing, Community Outreach & Development at UCLA Health says, “Healthcare is an important topic that impacts everyone… The Navigating the Intersection of Business and Healthcare event presented by the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce is a unique opportunity for the community to hear directly from executives of the four large healthcare systems based in Torrance.”
The panel includes Keith Hobbs of Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Joel Kim from Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center, Santiago Muñoz of UCLA Health, and Nate Mabry at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance. They will offer their perspectives on what improvements are needed in healthcare and the innovations they find promising.
“It is a really fascinating discussion about the ever-evolving industry of healthcare,” stated Folkert.
