The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the upcoming State of the Region event, on February 21st. This initiative is designed to bring the local community together for a deeper understanding of federal affairs and the challenges facing the United States, both in the short and long term. This year, the event is proud to announce its partnership with presenting sponsor, American Honda Motor Company, Inc., which has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting initiatives that foster community dialogue and engagement.
Eric Walli, Assistant Vice President, Division Lead Regional Planning at American Honda Motor Company, Inc., shared insights on the significance of an event like this for businesses of any size. “State of the Region promotes understanding and awareness of the issues that we all face on a day-to-day basis. There are a lot of different rules, policies, and regulations that impact how we do business, and how we interact with our customers,” Walli explained.
This event gives businesses an exceptional opportunity to connect with congressional leaders, Ted Lieu and Maxine Waters, providing a platform to explore the overarching direction for our area. “State of the Region is a really good place to gain a deeper understanding of our elected officials’ thoughts and where this region is heading as well as their vision for this region,” Walli added, emphasizing the event’s role in facilitating strategic alignment and promoting a collective vision for a sustainable future.
The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to host this signature event, bringing together leaders to address our region’s key challenges. With support from Honda and other sponsors, we aim to offer a valuable experience for everyone involved. This event reinforces our commitment to nurturing local business and community growth.
State of the Region is set for Wednesday, February 21st, 12:00 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Torrance – South Bay. Ticket sales for this event will conclude on Thursday, February, 15th. To register Click Here: https://www.torrancechamber.com/event/region2024/
