This past Wednesday, Kirk Rossberg, was installed as Chairman of the Board by Assembly member Al Muratsuchi, 66th District in a virtual ceremony. The Rossberg family opened Torrance Bakery in 1984 in a 1,200-foot-space with seven employees. Today it employs more than 75 people in two locations sprawling over 14,000 square feet and draws shoppers to Old Torrance seeking cakes, pastries and sandwiches.
As chairman of the board, Rossberg will be responsible for chairing meetings of the Board of Directors, managing and providing leadership to the Board of Directors and acting as a direct liaison between the board and the chamber staff.
“Kirk is a strategic thinker and has the ability to set and achieve goals. The Chamber membership will benefit under his leadership,” stated Donna Duperron, President and CEO.
Rossberg responsibilities will begin July 1, 2020. Watch the installation here.
