The main elements of the Chamber’s strategy include action for enterprise support, marketing of the Torrance Area businesses, corporate tourism initiatives, training, counseling, and providing information on available sites and premises.
Promote the Community
The Chamber initiates programs to promote the positive aspects of the Torrance Area to residents and visitors, ones which promote our community to other communities nationally and internationally, as well as ones which enhance our regional presence.
Provide Networking and Business Development Opportunities
The Chamber hosts numerous events throughout the year, providing an atmosphere for high level networking and visibility, as well as opportunities to expand and connect our members’ client base.
Engage in Political Action
In an effort to support candidates, as well as taking positions on state and local ballot measures of importance to the business community, the Torrance Area Chamber created a Political Action Committee. The TACC-PAC makes contributions to local and state candidates and is a separate entity from the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce.
Represent Business Interests before Government
Government regulations and policies increasingly affect every business, and the Chamber facilitates a favorable business environment. Working with you and for you, we ensure that the business perspective is heard on a variety of critical issues.
