TACC CONNECTIONS - Connect with other business professionals for sales contacts and access to influential people.

  • Networking at Noon is offered twice monthly at local Chamber member restaurants. This event allows you to promote your business ‘mini-expo’ style and is for ‘members only’.

  • Business @ Breakfast is a pilot program for those business people who like to make contacts first thing in the day – it’s pure networking!

  • Membership Lunch Orientation is a quarterly opportunity for new and prospective businesses to learn the Chamber of Commerce can make a difference in the growth of their business.

  • Non Profit Coalition is a collaboration of Chamber member non profit organizations. The group meets quarterly for networking with one another and training in operational excellence

TACC INVOLVEMENT - Involvement in the activities and programs of the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce allows you to access community leaders and individuals of influence while providing learning opportunities and experiences for you as a business person and individual

  • Chamber Committees/Task Forces are open to all Chamber members specifically in our major programs including our diversity projects – including Japan Business Reception, Dragon Circle Chinese New Year Celebration, Latino Business Reception and Black History Celebration, the annual Business Expo, our Foundation’s Mentoring Program, Adopt A School, Business for a Day as well as others.

  • PROFS is the Professional Roundtable of Financial Services. Chamber member businesses focused in any aspect of finance and financial services is invited to join this group for future referrals and networking.

  • Chamber Ambassadors is an approved group of emerging leaders who help new members assimilate into the Chamber and assist with Ribbon Cuttings/Groundbreakings

  • Human Resources Professionals gathers HR generalists from small and medium sized businesses to networking locally and to be trained in the latest compliance laws from are professionals.

  • Leadership Torrance Alumni Association brings together all graduates from the Leadership Torrance program in a social networking atmosphere quarterly as well as becoming involved in an educational local Youth Leadership Program.

  • TACC Political Action Committee seeks, endorses and supports candidates to run for public office at the city, county, state and federal levels, whose views represent the business of this region

  • GAP – The Government Affairs Policy group is comprised of Chamber members which act as legislative and regulatory analysts for local business by reviewing bills on local, county, state and federal levels and lobby for support or opposition to proposed legislation

  • California Legislative Summit Members of the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce travel to Sacramento to meet with elected officials and lobbyists to work on proposed legislation with the goal of sustaining a positive business climate in California.

  • Access D.C. In partnership with the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, this annual federal outreach to Washington D.C. allows face to face meetings with national legislative representatives on business issues

  • South Bay Association of Chambers of Commerce ( SBACC) - The Torrance Chamber is a key component of this 15 community regional alliance that works on legislative matters impacting this region.

  • U.S. Chamber Legislative Conference - This annual meeting of Chamber professionals and business leaders brings together those who work diligently on legislative matters affecting the Western United States.
